President William Ruto has changed the award categories for ten Chiefs of the Order of the Burning Spear (C.B.S.) who received their awards on Jamhuri Day.
In a gazette notice published on Friday, December 19, the President transferred the honorees to Moran of the Order of the Burning Spear (M.B.S.), Order of the Grand Warrior (O.G.W.), and Head of State’s Commendation honors (H.S.C.).
Ndung’u Joyce Njeri Njoroge and Kiini Sylvester Ngei were promoted from the C.B.S. award to the Moran of the Order of the Burning Spear.
Owino Harrison Ochieng, Kirui Kipkemoi Arap, Chemweno Peter Kipsang, Mogere Zakayo Izanta, Sitima Allan Mukoto, and Akama Vane Nyaboke have been reassigned to the Order of the Grand Warrior (OGW).
