‘Ruto Behaves Like Locusts!’ – Martha Karua Blasts Gov’t For Failed System
Martha Karua, the leader of the Narc Kenya party, has submitted a demand to President William Ruto regarding the issues affecting the country’s educational system.
Karua accused Ruto’s administration of destroying the school system in the same way locusts do.
“Ruto and his administration have behaved the way locusts behave when they descend on greenery,” said Karua.
“They consume everything and leave nothing. What his administration is doing is destroying education.”

She accused the Kenya Kwanza administration of failing to provide basic necessities for university students such as housing, tuition, and meals, which led to dropouts.
According to Karua, Kenya’s education system faces significant issues, which the William Ruto government has the ability to address but chooses not to do so.
“Kenya has money to do these things, cut out all the unnecessary spending, fund education as one of the basic needs of the country and of every human being to develop their full potential.”
She pushed Ruto to improve the school system like his predecessors, who created free education models.

Karua also requested that Ruto’s administration provide funding for secondary and primary schools. She maintained that if students are not properly supported they would drop out of school.
“This is a demand, not because we say so but also because the Constitution of Kenya says so and Kenyans expect it,” she remarked.
Her fears emerge as university students continue to stay at home following the teachers’ strike.
The dons are on strike, requesting that the government keep the pledges made during the signing of the collective bargaining agreement.
