CSs Joho, Ogamba Make 30 New Administrative Appointments

Ali Hassan Joho, Cabinet Secretary for Mining and Blue Economy, has nominated ten members to the Community Development Agreement Committee between Kipkorgot Community and Carbacid (CO2) Limited in Uasin Gishu County.

In addition, he appointed nine members to the Community Development Agreement Committee between the Bathi Community and Carbacid (CO2) Limited in Kiambu County.

In a gazette notification dated February 21, the CSs indicated that members appointed to the Committee will serve for three years.

“It is notified for the general information of the public that pursuant to Regulation 7 (1) of the Mining (Community Development Agreement) Regulations, 2017, the following are the members of the Community Development Agreement Committee between Kipkorgot Community in Uasin Gishu County and Carbacid (CO2) Limited,” part of the notice reads.

Kiambu County’s elected members are Irene Kurgat, Anthony Karago Mburu, Isaiah Murithi Mutiiria, Robert Kiplangat Kosgei, David Kimani Kuria, Eliud N. Ndichu, Stephen Nyutu Wamwere, Serah Njeri Karanja, and Patrick Njenga Wamwaki.

Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba, on the other hand, named Prof Geoffrey Wahungu as Chairperson of the Nyandarua National Polytechnic Council.

Migos, on the other hand, chose Paul Lilan as Chairperson of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority, as well as the other four members of the Board, effective February 21.

Joan A. Machayo, Charles Njore Majani, Eric Ochieng, and Dr. Ehud Gachungu are the other board members at the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority.

“In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 8 (3) and 8 (13) of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Act, 2013, the Cabinet Secretary for Education appoints Paul Lilan as the Chairperson,” the notice reads.
