Governor Condemns Woman’s Horrific Act Of Burning Family Of Five
Governor Abdi Guyo of Isiolo County has broken his silence in the aftermath of a series of unfortunate incidents in the county that have left citizens in mourning and authorities divided.
In an official statement issued on Wednesday, July 16, Guyo criticized recent incidents that resulted in the deaths of five family members and a blogger.
The governor also chastised political figures for using the tragedies to advance personal agendas.
He condemned the fire that killed Halima Ware, her three children, and a cousin, which was considered to be an arson assault by a lady suspected of being in a love triangle with the victim.

According to police investigations, Halima had previously made complaints about threats to her life, raising concerns about the efficiency of local security measures.
The governor also addressed the loss of Ismail Abdikadir, a well-known blogger who was killed in a hit-and-run accident involving a truck.
Eyewitness statements and police investigations corroborated the incident, despite some assertions attributing the killing to the Governor’s administration that lack evidence.
“This heartbreaking incident has shaken us all. It is disheartening that such a painful moment is being misused for political gain,” the governor said.

“Despite clear facts, certain individuals have chosen to politicize his death, unfairly linking it to my administration, without a shred of evidence,” the governor continued.
According to Guyo, the county has been a victim of rising levels of insecurity, causing pain among families.
However, he informed people that investigations are still proceeding.
“Isiolo has experienced a rise in isolated cases of killings in recent weeks. These incidents have left families grieving and communities anxious,” Guyo assured.

While other leaders attempt to relate the incidents to the recent impeachment issue, Guyo has kept his confidence and demonstrated his commitment to the rule of law throughout the process.
The governor, who survived an impeachment motion, has urged the county leaders to speak with responsibility and truth.
He also called on them to prioritize the well-being of Isiolo’s residents over political intrigues.
