Another Accident Kills Several People After Collision Between Royal Liner Bus, Trailer

Several persons are believed to have died and scores more injured after a Royal Liner bus collided with another on the Kisumu-Busia route while attempting to overcome a sharp turn.

According to reports, the bus was hit from behind by a flatbed trailer in an accident involving a petrol tanker near Lela in Maseno.

Several individuals have reportedly been hurt, and an unconfirmed number of fatalities have been recorded as of the time of publication.

Images and video recordings shared online depicted the aftermath of the disaster, with the driver’s side of the bus entirely scraped away from the collision.

First responders, including police officers, were also seen in the area assisting with passenger rescue and crowd control efforts.

The disaster occurred just one day after another long-distance bus, ENA Coach, was engaged in a deadly accident when the trailer behind it lost brakes and collided with the bus.
