Gachagua Reveals Amount Offered By Ruto To Resign In Another Bombshell Expose

‘He Is Bitter And Frustrated!’ – Gachagua Hits Back At Ruto While Visiting Martha Karua

Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has retaliated against President William Ruto, who recently criticized him for supposedly separating Kenyans along ethnic lines.

Gachagua denied Ruto’s charges, saying he backed him despite being from a different tribe.

On Saturday, January 25, he addressed a congregation at the residence of NARC Kenya party leader Martha Karua in Gichugu, Kirinyaga County.

The former DP, speaking during his reconciliation meeting with the former Azimio principal, claimed that the president’s public accusation of tribalism was an affront to the Kikuyu community.

While taking a dig at the Head of State, Gachagua said that President Ruto’s campaign in Western Kenya had ended in frustration and disappointment.

According to the former deputy president, Ruto’s displeasure stemmed mostly from the strong resistance of Mt Kenya residents, who he believed were against the president owing to political betrayal.

“I, Rigathi Gachagua, am not tribal because I supported President William Ruto, and he is not a Kikuyu. 87 percent of the people of my kinsmen voted for him, knowing very well he is not a Kikuyu,” Gachagua claimed.

“We are nationalists, and it is insulting to this community for the president to go around calling us tribal. We know he is unhappy, frustrated, and bitter that our people have left him.”

Gachagua was responding to Ruto’s remarks in Vihiga on Wednesday, in which he accused the former DP of incompetence, tribalism, and corruption.

“There are people who are attempting to lead us into hateful and tribal politics that is meant to divide Kenyans,” Ruto said.

“There are people we gave jobs, but because they are clueless and corrupt, they sunk and will continue sinking.”

Meanwhile, Martha Karua mirrored Gachagua’s remarks, accusing President Ruto of being a tyrant who violated the Constitution by reportedly arranging abductions.

Karua, who has been vocally critical of President Ruto’s regime, previously called for his resignation, claiming a lack of accountability and the Head of State’s inability to follow the rule of law.

“When you are given an opportunity for leadership in Kenya, that is not a title deed. Kenya doesn’t belong to you, it belongs to all of us,” Karua said.

“You cannot start doing things that are not in the Constitution. We will say ‘no’ because sovereignty belongs to the people.”

“Ruto should remember that he was fired from his job in June last year. Once the people reject you, resign and go home. We have seen people resigning all over the world. There is nothing special about Ruto.”
