Kenyan Senator Accused Of Using Police To Harass Estranged Girlfriend
Police in Ruai, Nairobi County, are investigating an incident in which rogue cops stormed a woman’s house in demand of Ksh.20 million allegedly stolen from a Kenyan Senator.
A police report stated that five cops raided Trizar Theo Wariong’s home on Saturday night.
The officers were demanding the cash, which they claimed belonged to Turkana Senator James Lomenen, her estranged spouse.
“Upon gaining entry into the house the first three officers from Njathaini police station went straight into her bedroom and took USD 15,000 (Ksh.1.9M) and Ksh.200,000 which was inside a suite case and left,” read the report in part.
Trizar claimed that she was then snatched from her home, placed into a waiting saloon car, and driven away.
Two officers from Kamulu Police Station are claimed to have alighted the car upon arrival at Kamulu Shopping Center, and two additional persons, male and female, entered the car.

Trizar thought she was being transported to a police station, but she later said that they continued driving while she was forced to tell the location of the remaining funds.
“Later on they returned her to her house in the wee hours of the morning after torture and life threats,” added the police report.
Officers who visited the location discovered that two officers, Kevin Ombajo and David Aduda from the Njathaini police station, were involved in the task.
An investigation to identify the additional individuals is still underway.
