Gachagua’s DCP Party Billboard Vandalized In Nairobi
A celebratory billboard commemorating the Democracy for the Citizens (DCP) party launch was knocked down in Nairobi, eliciting a variety of reactions.
An image released online depicted the billboard, which represented former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua (Riggy G), the DCP Party Leader, and Irungu Nyakera, as a mangled ruin.
The billboard read “Hongera Riggy G on your party launch,” and featured images of the two leaders.
On Saturday, May 17, Nyakera resorted to social media to protest the act and voice his disappointment with the billboard’s demolition.
