Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga paid a visit to Meshack Ojwang’s bereaved family in Kokwanyo on Monday, a day after he returned from Nairobi.

During the visit, Governor Wanga pledged to build a two-bedroom house for the family worth Sh1.5 million.

She stated that the house will be done in two and a half weeks, before the funeral.

Furthermore, the county intends to establish a water station to assist the family and the neighboring community.

He died in captivity, under mysterious circumstances. Public outrage has grown, with large protests and calls for accountability.
