Ruto Donates Ksh100 million to AIC Church Again
President William Ruto has promised to donate Ksh100 million to the Africa Inland Church (AIC).
Speaking at a church service at AIC Loglogo, Marsabit County, on Sunday, November 16, the Head of State stated that the funds will be used for the church’s “ongoing works”.
“I went to visit some people in Ileret, and I know that there is a lot of work that is going on there, and since I’m a member and beneficiary of this church, I will look for Ksh100 million for you,” Ruto said.
“You will just give me a list of what you will be doing there. Have you understood me, bishop?”

The monies will be devoted to projects in Ileret, Marsabit County. Ruto addressed his views to the leadership of the AIC heads in Marsabit, requesting that they submit to him a description of how the funds will be used.
The president also announced that he will take up the building of AIC Loglogo. The church needs Ksh17 million to be completed.
The president stated that he will complete the church over the next three months and hand it over to the church’s management.
“There is a church construction that is ongoing here and I have been shown and I sent people for a harambee, but I have been told it is yet to be completed,” Ruto said.
“I have been told that you are remaining with a deficit of Ksh17 million for the church to be completed, and I have already told the heads of the church that we will finish the church.”
“I have directed leaders in this region to ensure that they look for a contractor. The church will be completed in the next 2-3 months,” he added.
Ruto emphasized that church donations are critical to ensure that the work of God continues, especially at a time when Kenyan and African churches are expected to self-support.
“This will energise the momentum of the great work that has been done in 60 years. People came from far and started these churches, and it is now our time to continue with the work,” he said.

According to Ruto, the clergy of the church have already explained to him that the new facility will have various facilities, such as conference halls and offices, among other amenities.
The Head of State said that the Prime Cabinet Secretary, Musalia Mudavadi, and other local leaders will also contribute the remaining Ksh10million funds to see the timely completion of the project, according to Ruto.
