Kenyan ‘The Problem’ MMA Fighter Fires Hot Winning Streak
Kenyan Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter Emmanuel Nyangoma has had a successful 2025 season in the United Kingdom.
Nyangoma is an amateur featherweight fighter from Kenya who currently resides in the United Kingdom.
The fighter is regarded as Kenya’s first MMA fighter to achieve considerable international success, having competed mostly on the UK regional circuit.
He is located in Luton, Bedfordshire, and trains at Legends MMA.

During his fights, Nyangoma is commonly dubbed “Emmanuel the Problem” during the ring introduction.
Nyangoma began his amateur career in 2024 and has since emerged as a top prospect in the UK and Ireland regional rankings.
In 2025, the Kenyan fighter had a 100 percent submission percentage in all of his victories, with a special skill for the rear-naked choke.
Throughout 2025, he went on a three-bout winning streak, putting him in position for a championship belt battle in 2026.
Some of his performances included Cage Rage 4 and Anarchy Fight Series 4, where his opponents conceded defeat.
He defeated Naqeeb Hassan and Blake McLachman, among other opponents.

Nyangoma had only one loss in 2025. On July 26, he lost to Abdala Diriye at the Rage 22 tournament.
Mixed martial arts is a rapidly rising sport in Kenya. The country held its first fully sanctioned professional MMA event in December 2025.
The MMA event was organised by ANZA MMA, which runs amateur KO Fight Nights.
It is recognised by global organisations like the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and the Professional Fighters League (PFL) Africa.
