22-Year-Old Woman Pushed Off From A 2-Storey Building in Kisumu
A man and woman are in jail in connection with the murder of a 22-year-old woman who was thrown off the balcony of a two-story building in Lolwe, Kisumu County, on Monday night.
According to the authorities, the lady who was engaged in the fatal incident is alleged to have been involved in a love triangle.
While speaking to journalists, Kisumu Central Sub County police head Peter Mulai revealed that the two accused were involved in an altercation with the dead which led to the unfortunate Monday night incident.
The altercation is claimed to have started after the victim followed the man, 30, to his house and caught him with another lady, 25 before the victim was thrown down from the balcony.
“The man and another woman, who he claims is his wife accosted the deceased and she was pushed down after a small scuffle,” he added.
The man recognized the 25-year-old woman as his wife. However, the police reported that the man had previously lived with the dead.
According to authorities, after the collision, the man drove the lady to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The lady received a fracture on the head, which led to her losing a lot of blood through hemorrhage.
Mulai indicated that once the investigations have been concluded, the two would be arraigned and charged in court.
