Morara Kebaso Reveals New Political Party As Public Endorses

On Thursday, Morara Kebaso, a celebrated activist and lawyer, suggested a name for his new political party.

Morara Kebaso issued a brief statement inviting members of the public to provide feedback on the party’s name.

While making the announcement, the lawyer created a poll on his X account with the options ‘I support’ and ‘I oppose’ so that Kenyans could express their opinions.

“We propose the name ‘Injection of National Justice, Economic and Civic Transformation (INJECT) Party.’” Kebaso commented.

He also invited Kenyans to submit suggestions for the party’s colours, which he proposed as green and gold.

According to Morara Kebaso, green represented new growth, while gold represented a prosperous future.

“Comment below for alternative ideas,” the activist wrote.

However, while reiterating his idea, the lawyer claimed that the Registrar of Political Parties refused to ratify his new party because it was divisive based on age.

Morara’s latest announcement comes just one day after he clashed with Mercy Tarus, a fellow social media influencer, over the ‘Kenya ni Home’ slogan.

In recent weeks, the two leaders of various civic education groups have used the slogan. However, on Wednesday, the two disagreed on who has the right to use the slogan.

Mercy Tarus accused Morara of misusing the slogan on her X account, and she also criticized him for attempting to gain political power.

“We agree on something, you go ahead and do the opposite and act ignorant. We might be facing the same enemy but our reasons differ,” Tarus commented.

“There is no such thing as a messiah in this thing. It is a collective effort. Kenya Ni Home and home must be respected!” she added.
