‘Let Us Work!’ – Ruto Tells Leaders To Shun From Politics

President William Ruto has urged leaders to put politics aside and focus on working for Kenyans.

Speaking at a church service at Nairobi’s African Divine Church, the President urged Kenyan leaders to put politics aside and focus on serving their citizens.

“I ask those who have the opportunity to lead Kenyans, Let us put politics aside. What happened is behind us, let us now unite,” he said.

Ruto thanked the leaders who spoke at the event for urging politicians to unite.

“I thank those who have spoken here for asking the leadership of the country to unite,” he said.

“Raila Odinga agreed to work with me and unite the country. We agreed to drive the country forward without caring about political affiliations.”

The President noted similarities between Kenya Kwanza’s manifesto and Azimio’s.

“Azimio’s manifesto has a housing programme, Kenya Kwanza has it as well,” he stated.

“Azimio had a health programme, and Kenya Kwanza has too. Why can we unite and implement what our manifestos outline so that Kenya can grow.”

Meanwhile, Ruto announced that the Northern Collector Tunnel was completed.

“We have had water problem in Nairobi and the good news is that the Northern Collector Tunnel is now complete. More water is coming to Nairobi meaning Kibera and Langáta areas will now be okay,” he said.
