Matiang’i Ready For 2027 Presidential Race After Hiring Canadian Highly-Rated PR Agency
Fred Matiang’i, the former Interior Cabinet Secretary (CS), is seeking assistance from a lobbying powerhouse to achieve his win in the 2027 presidential race.
On July 29, 2024, Matiang’i signed a consulting deal with Canadian lobbying company Dickens & Madson to help his bid for President in 2027.
According to documents obtained by Citizen Digital, Matiang’i made a down payment of $65,000 (Ksh.8.4 million) at the time of the arrangement and would pay a retainer of $250,000 (Ksh.32.3 million).
According to the secret document, the firm will “provide media and public relations services on behalf of the foreign principal’s (Matiang’i) goals and activities”.
So i'm reading Matiangi's application submitted by the consultants to the Department of Justice & I have come across some interesting things… These are enough reasons to reject him! Basically, he is asking foreign governments to sponsor him. Another puppet! pic.twitter.com/YObZIHC66s

They will also petition the executive and/or legislative branches of the United States government to promote Matiang’i’s presidential campaign.
Dickens & Madson of Montreal has also offered to assist Matiang’i with the preparation and dissemination of necessary informational materials.

The lobbying business has also indicated that the agreement will be for one year and renewed upon mutual agreement.
Matiang’i has been tight-lipped about his presidential ambitions since leaving active politics in 2022 when President Uhuru Kenyatta’s term expired.
Dickens and Madson have been active in pushing for African dictators such as Zimbabwean tyrant Robert Mugabe and Khalifa Haftar, the commander of the eastern Libyan force.
They were also involved in a $6 million (Ksh.774 million) “image polishing” transaction with Sudan when the military dictatorship took control in 2019.
