Siaya Woman Surrenders To Police After Stabbing Lover To Death
A woman from Siaya County surrendered to authorities on Saturday after stabbing her partner to death over adultery.
The woman, known as Vivian Akoth, surrendered to the Siaya Police Station and is being kept pending further investigation into the incident that has aroused outrage.
Grace Otieno, the area assistant chief, verified the occurrence to the press, stating that the deceased arrived home around 9 p.m. with a buddy before his girlfriend arrived.
According to the assistant chief, the dead companion heard a ruckus and became suspicious of what was happening.
The 28-year-old mother of one is accused of launching an unprovoked attack on her 35-year-old boyfriend Charlton Obare over alleged cheating.
She stabbed him in the chest with what appeared to be a sharp object. Following the incident, the deceased collapsed to the ground, half dead.
The assistant chief added that when the lady Vivian realized the deceased had been gravely wounded, she phoned the buddy who had accompanied him to confirm his condition.
The deceased’s fiancée then requested a motorcycle to transport him to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
In the following pandemonium, the lady vanished and presented herself at a local police station, confessing to the cold-blooded murder.

The Assistant Chief coordinated with the police who came on the spot to begin their investigation into the murder.
The deceased’s body has subsequently been moved to the Siaya County Referral Hospital morgue, where it awaits post-mortem examination by a government doctor.
It comes just a week after another lady stabbed to death a 24-year-old guy, a student who was four days away from graduating from Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) after an affair turned sour.

The two allegedly had an affair before the sad incident in Kitale’s Huruma Area.
