‘Move On, You Can’t Even Lead Nyumba Kumi!’ – Mudavadi Trolls Gachagua
Musalia Mudavadi, Prime Cabinet Secretary (CS), has slammed former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua for his constant attacks against the administration.
Speaking at a roadside rally in Kakamega County on Monday, Mudavadi asked Gachagua to temper his rage at the state and instead focus on his professional goals.
He also stated that Kenyans should support Kenya Kwanza’s development plan and refrain from embracing divisive politics from persons who have no chance of attaining political office.
“If somebody was mourning then he has finished the mourning. The mourning period is over,” Mudavadi noted.

“Kenya must move on, it is not there to listen to you every other day. We must develop the country and that is where President Ruto is taking us.”
“The law says that if you have been impeached you cannot have public office even a nyumba kumi (village elder).”
Mudavadi, who is also the Foreign Affairs CS, advised Kenyans to analyze the law and use it as a sanity check before swearing loyalty to politicians.

“Analyse the law because we do not want to be deceived by someone who cannot hold public office. Let us not waste our time, let us move forward,” he noted.
“The former Nairobi governor (Mike Sonko) was impeached and he could not hold that office again. The one in Kiambu (Ferdinand Waititu) also got stuck after impeachment.”
Since his removal in October 2024, Gachagua has started a bare-knuckle attack against his former boss President Ruto and his government.
Gachagua has also galvanized the majority of his fans in the Mt. Kenya region to keep on the offensive and deny him electoral votes in the 2027 General Election.
