He encouraged Kenya Kwanza leaders to avoid attacking one another in public.

Former United Democratic Alliance leader Johnson Muthama has stated that the Kenya Kwanza administration is “too young to have conspicuous cracks.”

Muthama, a former Machakos senator, advised Kenya Kwanza leaders to overcome their issues by embracing one another rather than talking against each other.

“..in case there are some teething issues, let us use our internal mechanisms to iron them without exposing ourselves the way it has happened recently,” he said in a statement.

Muthama stated that Kenya Kwanza authorities should focus on executing the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA).

According to Muthama, the UDA was formed on a solid political foundation free of political deception.

On Wednesday, UDA Secretary General Cleophas Malala chastised Cabinet Secretaries Moses Kuria (Public Service) and Kipchumba Murkomen (Transport) for participating in politics.

Malala stated that holders of public offices are required by law to remain apolitical, and they must work to achieve this.

“It has come to my attention that some Cabinet Secretaries have been involving themselves in political activities, contrary to the law which requires them to remain apolitical,” he said.

Malala, who spoke after returning from China, expressed profound concern about how United Democratic Alliance (UDA) leaders have been acting themselves.

He pointed out that they had disrespected the ruling party’s leadership.

Following Malala’s warning, Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi responded promptly.

Sudi made a subtle remark about Malala’s press statement on his X account just minutes after she posted it.

While singling out the leaders, including Sudi, Malala described their recent behavior as not only damaging the party’s unity but also disrespecting the leadership that they promised service delivery.

“Let this be a stern warning, desist from such actions with immediate effect. Should this behaviour persist, the party will take disciplinary actions against you,” he said.
