Lucy Chomba, a former Huruma MCA in Eldoret, was found dead in her home in town.
She served as an MCA twice but was defeated in the 2022 elections.

Lucy Ng’endo Chomba was elected on a Jubilee Party ticket after her late husband Peter Chomba passed away due to breathing complications.
During her victory speech, Chomba promised to complete all of her late husband’s projects.
“I want to thank all my supporters for turning up in numbers. I promise that I will not let you down. I will ensure that I serve all equally whether they voted for me or not,” she noted.
During the late Chomba’s burial, Ruto, then Deputy President, urged other aspirants to put their ambitions on hold so that she could complete her term.
“It’s good if we allow Mama Lucy to have this seat so that she completes the term of our departed brother Chomba. Therefore, we’re going to have discussions on how to implement this,” Ruto stated.
