“Due to anticipated traffic disruptions on major roads leading to JKIA on Tuesday 23rd July 2024, customers are advised to arrive at the airport at least four (4) hours before their scheduled flight departure time,” the statement read.
“Customers are also encouraged to plan extra time to avoid potential delays en route to the airport.”
The airline apologised for any inconveniences that passengers may experience on Tuesday and assured them of their safety and well-being.
KQ stated that customers can physically check in at the airport as early as four hours before their flight departs.
They can also book online at Kenya Airways’ official website or on their mobile devices using the KQ Mobile app from 48 hours to 90 minutes before the flight departs.
KQ stated that they are doing everything possible to ensure that flights depart and arrive on time.
They did, however, say that customers should expect some delays in their departure and arrival times due to traffic disruptions.
