2 People Hacked To Death While Buying Maize In Moiben
Two people, a lorry turnboy and a villager, were attacked and hacked to death by unknown people on the Tugen estate in Uasin Gishu County.
Moiben sub-county police chief Stephen Okal said the turnboy and driver of the truck had gone to the area to buy maize when their vehicle broke down on Sunday night.
According to police, the driver left the turnboy to guard the lorry while he searched for a spare part in Eldoret, which is more than 30 kilometers away.
The turnboy then enlisted the help of a resident to guard the lorry while they waited for the driver to return.
