UDA MP Says They Will Not Allow Gachagua To Be Disrespected
Outspoken Githunguri MP Gathoni Wamuchomba has stated that Mt Kenya will support Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
She spoke in Githunguri at the kinship burial of Kiambu Senator Karungo Thang’wa.
Gachagua is attending the funeral with some of his Mt Kenya allies.
Wamuchomba suggested that Mt Kenya leaders take a cue from Rift Valley leaders who respect and rally behind their leaders.

“We know those people who walk around abusing Rigathi Gachagua and former president Uhuru Kenyatta and we will not allow that character,” Wamuchomba said.
She stated that it is past time for Mt Kenya leaders to come together and support Gachagua.
The MP stated that the decision to refer to DP Gachagua as a villager will not prevent him from uniting the people of the Mt Kenya region.
“Let them call you a villager but we will support you,” Wamuchomba said.
Embakasi North MP James Gakuya has stated that Kenyans should unite and preach unity.
He stated that unity is the only act that can propel the country forward.
He rallied DP Gachagua to assist coffee farmers in receiving their cherry funds while also advocating for the plight of milk farmers.
