‘Usiniharakishe!’ – Ruto Rebukes Migori Man For Distracting His Speech
During his development tour of Raila Odinga’s backyard, President William Ruto told off a man who was distracting him from his speech in Migori on Wednesday.
The President was addressing Migori residents when a man interrupted his speech, forcing him to stop.
However, Ruto told him to calm down because he wasn’t in a hurry.
The president was asking residents which development projects they wanted the government to focus on.

Ruto thanked the residents for supporting agriculture and ensuring the country’s food security.
“Na Kaunti? (What about the county?)” a man was heard shouting.
“Ngoja na Kaunti, wacha kunikimbiza wewe, wewe unaniharakisha umesikia niko na haraka ya kuenda wapi? Nipeleke polepole wacha maneno, Kaunti nitasema,” the President replied.
The President went on to finish his portion of the speech and discuss issues in Migori County.
Ruto stated that the national and county governments have agreed to support Community Health Promoters.
The President stated that the move will allow residents to better understand their health status and plan their medication accordingly.
Ruto boosted support for the Social Health Insurance Fund, claiming it will address inclusivity.
The President started his four-day tour of Luo Nyanza on Wednesday.
On Thursday, Ruto will visit Homa Bay County to commission the Oyugis water project before inspecting the Homa Bay fish market.
He will then launch the Rusinga Ring Road. Later, he will attend the thanksgiving ceremony for National Treasury Cabinet Secretary John Mbadi.
On Friday, Ruto will arrive in Siaya County to inaugurate the Mageta Island solar project in Bondo, Raila’s home constituency.
He will then travel to Alego Usonga to launch the Siaya economic stimulus programme market.
The head of state will also inaugurate the Siaya Rice Mill Project in Siaya. Later that day, he will attend the thanksgiving service for Energy CS Opiyo Wandayi in Ugunja.
President Ruto will conclude his tour of Raila’s backyard on Saturday, with several activities planned in Kisumu County.
They include the inauguration of the Kisumu Marine School in the port area.
He will then go to Kisumu East constituency and visit the Lake Basin Development Authority rice mill at Kibos.
Later, he will visit the Lumumba affordable housing project before concluding his Nyanza tour with a visit to the Nyakach constituency to inaugurate the Nyabondo Trauma Centre.
