MORARA KEBASO: Activist Gifted a Luxurious Mansion, Set To Make It Civic Education Headquarter

Morara Kebaso’s activism received a significant boost on Tuesday when he was given a mansion that will serve as the hub for his operations.

In a post, the activist stated that a family friend living abroad donated the house located in Kahawa Sukari, Nairobi County, which will serve as his office headquarters and base of operations.

“A family friend who lives abroad has offered to donate a house in Kahawa Sukari to be our office headquarters and base of operations,” he shared.

The activist, who recently rose to national prominence for auditing stalled government projects, also stated that he will only have to pay a small service fee to maintain the property.

This comes only days after Kebaso hinted at plans to register a political party to advocate for the interests of young people, particularly Gen Zs.

Senior government officials have reacted negatively to the activist’s inspection of government projects.

At one point, State House Spokesperson Hussein Mohammed was forced to call into a live interview to refute Kebaso’s claims.

Morara claimed that due to his work, President Ruto personally called him to offer him a position.

Previously, the activist invited Kenyans to donate money to help fund the purchase of a public address (PA) system for civic education.

The public showed overwhelming support by donating over Ksh1.2 million, which the activist stated will be put to good use, with every shilling accounted for.

“Kenyans have bought me a super clear presidential address system. Boy oh boy. You should see me use it. I will educate and educate and educate,” he posted on his X handle.

The lawyer, who is also the founder of the ‘Kenya Ni Home’ movement, promised to continue conducting civic education and keeping the administration in check.

So far, Morara’s civic campaigns have drawn large crowds, with people eager to hear the activist criticize the government and expose corruption.

The addition of the mansion is likely to bolster Morara’s activism, as he seeks to take his demands for government accountability to the next level.
