Morara Kebaso Arrested Again By Kenya Police Over Bomas Attack
David Morara Kebaso, a lawyer turned activist, was reportedly arrested again by police on Tuesday, October 8.
According to his lawyer and wife, the activist was apprehended around 11 a.m. and forced into a Subaru vehicle, which is commonly associated with Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) officers.
In a series of tweets, Morara’s lawyer, Pareno Solonka, expressed deep concern about the police’s actions.
“Morara has just been bundled into this Subaru by DCI officials. We don’t know where he is being taken or the reasons for being taken,” Solonka stated.
I have just met Morara at Langata Police Station. The police are claiming that Morara is the one who caused violence in Bomas. Honestly, these guys need mental assessments.

The lawyer later confirmed that Morara had been taken to the Langata Police Station.
Morara’s wife, Mercy Morara, also confirmed that he was arrested, stating on X social media.
“They have arrested @MoraraKebasoSnr again.”
This is Morara’s second arrest in just over a week. He was arrested by masked police last Monday evening and will appear in court the following day.

He faced allegations of cyber-harassment. This incident sparked widespread outrage, especially in Nairobi, where he was initially detained.
Morara, who is only 28 years old, has amassed a sizable social media following, thanks largely to his outspoken criticisms of alleged corruption and misappropriation of public funds through fictitious or stalled projects.
