CCTV Shows Last Moments of 2 Sisters Murdered While In Search of Hospitalized Mother

A family in Eastleigh, Nairobi, is seeking justice after three family members, a mother and her two daughters, were discovered murdered in various locations throughout Nairobi.

The trio, who went missing on Monday, October 21, were discovered dead in Bahati, Parklands, and Machakos, each with similar injuries.

According to family members, the two girls left home on Monday in search of their mother, who had not returned home after a hospital visit.

Citizen TV shared CCTV footage of the two girls, aged 10 and 22, leaving their home dressed casually in hijab before briefly stopping by the exit to have a conversation.

One of the girls then made a two-minute phone call to an unknown person in the apartment parking lot.

After several minutes of phone conversation, the footage showed the duo walking to a car (believed to be a taxi) that had just arrived outside the premises before boarding it around 9 p.m. It was the last time the duo was seen.

While narrating the incident, a family member of the trio stated that the two girls left home on Monday evening to look for their mother, who had left earlier in the day for skin treatment at a shop in the Eastleigh area but failed to return.

“Our aunt told us that she wanted to go out for a skin check and when he left home, it was around 8 am but she failed to return until 1 pm when her daughters decided to go and search for her. It was the last time we saw the mother and her two daughters,” noted the victims’ family member.

“In the morning, we were informed that a body had been recovered at Parkroads that is when we decided to come and check if it was one of the daughters. They have been killed and their bodies mutilated and thrown in different locations,” the trio’s kin narrated.

Police, who began investigations, discovered that the victims could have been strangled by the same people. However, the investigation is still ongoing, with more information about the trio’s deaths being uncovered.

In a similar scenario, a family in Ngong, Nairobi, is seeking justice for the brutal murder of their daughter, Christine Nyakio, whose body was discovered dumped in a swamp.

The 24-year-old, who lived alone in an apartment in Kajiado, vanished on Thursday last week after leaving home for an unknown destination.

According to the victim’s sister, Nyakio was last apprehended by neighbors after being ejected from her home by a man.

“Apparently, the kids in the apartment told me that they saw a man attempting to eject her from the house and that was the last time she was seen at the apartment,” noted Nyakio’s sister.
