Fatal Morning Accident Claims 3 People’s Lives In Kisumu
An early morning accident in Nyakach, Kisumu County, claimed the lives of three persons and injured three more.
According to images seen by AfricasNow, the accident occurred when a matatu collided with a motorcycle on the Katitu-Kendu Bay road.
According to reports, the motorcycle was carrying four pillion riders when the tragedy occurred.
The three deaths add to the number of traffic fatalities that have plagued the country this holiday season.

Earlier this morning, it was reported that an accident in the Mwisho wa Lami region of Mau Narok, Nakuru County, injured at least 40 persons on Wednesday night.
It is alleged that two lorries traveling in opposing directions collided head-on, hurting multiple individuals, including pedestrians.
The Kenya Red Cross confirmed the mishap and stated that rescue teams had already been dispatched to the scene.
A multi-agency team that included the National Police Service (NPS), the Nakuru County Government Ambulance Service, and Emergency Kenya Services arrived.

A few days ago, another horrific accident occurred on the Narok Mai-Mahiu route, killing eight people.
The fatalities were caused by two trucks driving to Mai Mahiu from Narok colliding with six vehicles and a motorcycle in two separate accidents.
The first crash claimed the lives of three matatu occupants, while the second killed two pillion riders and three Prado passengers.
As travel plans heat up, motorists have been reminded to be more cautious on the road in order to avoid additional tragedies.
