‘You are foolish!’ – Ruto To Kenyans While Bragging About His PhD

President William Ruto is once again under fire for adopting inappropriate words in response to critics of the statewide cattle mass vaccination operation.

Ruto spoke to them as fools who lack the ability to address him owing to a lack of proper education.

Many people were taken aback by the President’s disrespectful statements to those who oppose the vaccination of nearly 80 million livestock, goats, and sheep.

On Thursday, he spoke while on his third day of a Northern Kenya trip in Garissa County.

“Sasa kuna watu wengine wajinga wanatuambia tusichanje ng’ombe yetu tusipate soko la kitaifa. Si hiyo ni ukumbafu? Si tumekuwa tukichanja mifugo yetu tangu zamani?” Ruto posed.

Ruto also appeared to attack Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, who has been critical of the government’s vaccination drive.

Ruto referred to him as a “ndengu man,” which approximately translates as a “mung beans man.” Ndengu is a significant cash crop in the Ukambani region, where the opposition leader is from.

“Wewe unaenda kumsikiza mtu ya kupanda ndengu. ati anakuambia usichanje ng’ombe yako. yeye hana ng’ombe…hiyo ni mambo ya upumbavu na wakwende kabisa,” said Ruto.

In a rapid, cryptic response to President Ruto’s claim that he did not own any livestock, Kalonzo uploaded a photo of himself caring for his cows at his rural house.

The Head of State also addressed his remarks at people he claims lack the range or academic credentials to correct him.

“Na mkiona wale wanalalamika ni watu sijui wamesomea wapi.Si mimi niko na PhD…si mimi naelewa nini inaendelea Kenya? Sasa mimi napata watu wako na elimu kidogo kidogo hapa wanajaribu kunifundisha, mnanifundisha kazi gani?” He posed.

Ruto faced criticism in December of last year for using identical phrases to target critics of the program, which had not yet been implemented at the time.

“Anybody opposing vaccination to eliminate FMD and PPR is simply mad, unreasonable and possibly stupid,” he said then.

Previously, the Head of State made headlines by declaring that those who opposed other government projects were possessed by demonic spirits.

However, Ruto maintained his demand for unity in the country, claiming that the agenda was unstoppable.
