Woman Kills Her 3 Children Before Committing Suicide
According to details, the woman is the wife of an ardent Kameme Radio fan named Junior Wa Githogoro, and she allegedly committed the horrific act while depressed.
According to Kameme FM radio announcer Muthoni wa Kirumba, her spouse, a station fan, called her before she left for the morning broadcast.
The fan said that he returned home on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, to find his three children strangled to death and his wife had committed suicide.
She allegedly killed her children with bedsheets before hanging herself with another bedsheet.

Kirumba, taken aback by the call, attempted to contact a senator, Bishop JJ, and some close friends to assist the man; however, none of them answered her calls.
The spouse, who was returning from the night shift, alerted the neighbors, who contacted the police.
The older youngster was 12 years old, while the other two were twins aged eight.
Investigations are ongoing to determine what caused the woman to commit suicide and kill her children.
Gigiri Deputy Police Commander Fredrick Alata says they found a suicide note in the residence and are investigating to find out who wrote it and why.
The four bodies are resting in the Kenyatta Teaching and Referral Morgue ahead of a postmortem exercise.
Although Muthoni wa Kirumba did not specify why the mother committed the deed, she assumed it was motivated by mental health difficulties.

This is not the first time a woman has taken the lives of her children.
A 35-year-old Bomet mother who was apparently depressed murdered her two children before killing herself in August 2024.
She reportedly killed her 10- and four-year-old children with a blank metallic instrument before hanging herself.
Depression has been implicated in several of these cases.
