13-Year-Old Student Found Stabbed, Sodomised While Still In School Uniform
Police have initiated a manhunt for the perpetrator(s) of the suspected gruesome murder of a 13-year-old boy in Kamulu, Nairobi.
Four days after being reported missing, the boy’s body was discovered in a thicket with stab wounds.
The youngster was discovered dumped just 200 meters from his grandmother’s house, having last been seen in an estate in Kamulu wearing his school uniform. He disappeared on his way home from school.
According to the boy’s grandmother and the neighbour who discovered him, he had many stab wounds on his stomach, neck, and hands.
“I was called by one of the neighbours and told to go and identify a body,” the boy’s grandmother narrated.

“Apparently, a boy’s body had been found in a thicket next to a neighbour’s shop. In my head, I knew it was my grandson.”
“When we went to the bush, we found out that it was indeed my grandson in his school uniform and bag,” she added.
“He had one big stab wound that went all through the stomach and other stab wounds in the neck and hands.”
The boy’s family has condemned the reason behind the horrible act and is left wondering who would wish to bring such pain to their loved ones.
“If you see how my child died, you will recognise that it was a very painful death for a small child,” the boy’s mother stated.
“It looked like he was struggling and the stab wounds on the hand show that. Plus, he had other stab wounds and was missing his shoes.”
Even as the police initiated an inquiry to determine the facts behind the odd murder, the boy’s family has urged the authorities to hurry the investigation, stating that progress has been slow.

“The police said they started investigations but we have not heard from them since. They asked me whether I had disagreed with anyone but I told them I have no enemies,” the boy’s grandmother stated.
“One thing I would like to plead for is for us to get justice. If there is any way we can know who committed the crime and why it happened, we would want to know,” the boy’s father stated.
The youngster’s terrible death comes amid increased insecurity in the Kamulu region, with recent reports of a boy being sodomised and a lady being raped.
Residents in the neighborhood claim there is a link between these incidents and have encouraged the appropriate authorities to pull up their socks and put an end to the menace.
