Autopsy Reveals Body Injuries On Man Killed By Ruto Motorcade’s Hit-And-Run

An autopsy on 79-year-old British national Edgar Charles Frederick found that he died instantly after being struck by a car in President William Ruto’s convoy.

On Thursday, Frederick was killed in a hit-and-run on Ngong Road.

The autopsy was performed at Lee Funeral Home in the presence of his family, who live in Kenya.

“The head and chest were completely crushed. It is possible he was run over by a vehicle given his injuries with crushed ribs,” the pathologist said.

The deceased was in Nairobi to see his sister and nephews. Frederick was hit by a car in the convoy while attempting to cross the road near the Adams Arcade neighborhood.

Witnesses reported that the foreigner was unaware of a traffic officer’s movements and shouting while clearing the way.

According to police spokesman Michael Muchiri, the man came to Nairobi to see family who live there.

According to authorities, the driver who caused the accident and failed to stop after it occurred will appear in court following an inquiry.
