Senator Olekina Event Disrupted As Rival Factions Fight In Kajiado
Rival camps battled on Thursday at a gathering held by Narok Senator Ledama Olekina in Kajiado County.
According to a video obtained by AfricasNow, the parties were fighting for more than an hour.
One group had already arrived at the meeting location, and when the other group attempted to join them, they were refused entry.
At one point in the footage, the second group is seen attempting to force their way in but failing.
Police were eventually forced to interfere, and while their efforts cooled the tempers of the two camps, they did not end the conflict.
