EXCLUSIVE! Inside Albert Ojwang’s Parents’ New Complete House
The county administration of Homa Bay has finished building a two-bedroom house for Albert Ojwang’s father, just a day before his son’s burial.
In a statement issued Thursday morning, Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga said Albert Ojwang’s desire to build a house for his parents had been realized despite his absence.
The house, erected next to Mzee Ojwang’s old house, was painted beige with a touch of white on the margins, bringing in the necessary brightness with a staircase at the front.
As you enter the property, you will notice a large and exquisite sitting room painted in a light cream with comfortable furniture and colorful curtains.
The new home, built for Albert Ojwang’s father and mother, features a single living area, two bedrooms, a bathroom, a toilet, and a kitchen with a back door.

While handing over the residence, Governor Gladys Wanga demanded justice for the dead, who died in police custody after being arrested by DCI officials in early June.
“Today, as we receive Albert’s body home, his dream to build his parents a new house is fulfilled, albeit in his absence. May justice prevail,” said Governor Wanga.
Before the new house was built, Meshack Ojwang and his wife resided in a semi-permanent residence, hoping that one day his son would build him a modern homestead.
The newest development comes just two weeks after Governor Wanga promised to build a new two-bedroom home for Albert Ojwang’s parents.

She stated that the house would be built on her family’s land in Kokwanyo village, Kabondo Kasipul.
Wanga revealed the construction plans after visiting the family on June 16 to console them.
During her visit, Wanga received cash donations of Ksh2 million from President William Ruto.
The county boss also promised to organize friends to buy a block of land in Homa Bay and build rental houses for Ojwang’s parents to create a steady income.
