‘We Are Coming For You!’ – Ruto Warns The Protest Financiers
President William Ruto has issued a harsh warning to all leaders who have sponsored recent protests that they will face consequences.
“We are coming after you, you cannot sponsor violence in the Republic of Kenya and expect to go scot free,” he said.
“Wale wote wamepatikana wameiba na kupora mali ya wananchi na kuchoma biashara ya wengine watachukuliwa hatua ya sheria na watafunga,” he said.
He also cautioned anyone involved in the looting and torching of businesses, including government property, that they would not be spared in the response.
“Wale wote wamepatikana wameiba na kupora mali ya wananchi na kuchoma biashara ya wengine watachukuliwa hatua ya sheria na watafunga,” he said.
He condemned the attacks on police personnel and security sites, describing them as acts of terrorism and a plain declaration of war.
“We cannot have a nation that is run by terror, that is governed by violence. We cannot, and it will not happen under my watch,” he stated.

He also complained about the significant losses experienced by industrious business owners, blaming them on politicians who instigate turmoil rather than providing alternative solutions.
