According to the National Police Service, the driver failed to stop when instructed and then abandoned the vehicle, fleeing on foot. Attempts to locate and apprehend the suspect are ongoing.

A search of the car uncovered two cows tethered in the boot. The animals were secured and turned over to the appropriate authorities, while the car was confiscated as part of the ongoing investigation.

The National Police Service praised the officers for their quick response, stating that their actions most likely saved cattle owners from losing their animals.

The Police Service reiterated its commitment to fighting crime and protecting communities across the country.

It advised the public to continue cooperating with law enforcement by reporting any suspicious activity promptly.
