“Vote With Pride!” – Gachagua Tells Mbeere North Constituents
Rigathi Gachagua, the leader of the Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP), has increased his party’s campaign efforts for its candidate in Mbeere North.
The DCP leader asked locals to support Newton Kariuki in the next parliamentary by-election.
Addressing crowds at Kageeri Shopping Centre and Kiandu Market in Nthawa Ward, the former Deputy President warned voters about intimidation.
He urged the constituents to stay firm and vote with pride for the candidate who they believe will best serve them.
He stated that Kariuki is the only candidate who knows the daily difficulties of Mbeere North and will remain accountable to the people.
Gachagua was accompanied by former CS Justin Muturi, former CS Mithika Linturi, and Manyatta MP Gitonga Mukunji, all of whom reiterated his call for citizens to support Kariuki.
During his early-morning door-to-door campaign, Gachagua and other leaders walked across villages, addressing citizens personally.
He stated that the personal meetings strengthened his opinion that Karish is the best candidate for the constituency.
Gachagua stated that he will continue to visit homes and villages to ensure that people understand the message of what he calls a “liberation agenda.”
He characterized the campaign as a movement to strengthen and unite Kenya.
He stated that his efforts were aimed at reaching individuals ‘one by one, home by home, village by village.’
