REVEALED: How Late Johana Ngeno Was Allegedly Kidnapped At A Police Station

Emurua Dikirr MP Johanna Ng’eno had previously described how he was kidnapped inside a police station at night and nearly slain in the wilderness by the same abductors before his untimely death in a helicopter accident.

Following Ng’eno’s death, a previous video in which he claimed that his life was in danger and that kidnappers nearly killed him went viral on social media.

On June 29, 2025, Ng’eno described the experience in an interview with Hot 96 radio, describing how he was taken from his constituency and detained at a police station from early in the morning till late at night.

According to the late MP, things took a drastic change at 10:30 p.m. when a different squad allegedly arrived, pulled him from the station, and placed him in a Land Cruiser.

“They picked me from my constituency in the morning to the police station, and we stayed up to 10 pm,” Ngeno recounted in the interview.

“But around 10.30 pm, some team arrived, I don’t know from where, and put me in a Land Cruiser, and they tied my hands to the rail of the Land Cruiser.”

Ng’eno stated the car passed through numerous towns, including Sotik, Nyamira, and Kisii, before returning to Bomet and entering a forested area.

He claimed that at one point, the vehicle came to a stop and he was told to get out.

“Then they asked me to alight and told me that do you know we can kill you. I told them, yeah, I know,” he added.

“I told them if you kill me today, I will be remembered for 200 years, but you, who will remember you for killing me. And the reason why you want to kill me is because of a politician,” he said.

However, the late MP claimed that after speaking with the abductors for some time, they changed their minds and told him to return to the car before going to Nakuru, where he recorded a statement and was imprisoned.

The video has since gone viral on social media following his death in a helicopter crash on Saturday, February 28, a crash that claimed five other lives.
