The party said registration would give aspirants official recognition as candidates seeking the DCP nomination and make them eligible to participate in its nomination process.
DCP also said registered aspirants would have an opportunity to campaign and present their agendas to voters while accessing party structures for mobilisation and grassroots engagement.
According to the party, aspirants will also be included in official DCP activities and programmes and receive nomination information and official party communication.
The party encouraged prospective candidates to use the registration period to build their political profiles, demonstrate grassroots support and compete fairly with other aspirants in accordance with party rules.
