[DETAILS] How Nairobi Landlord, Employer Killed Lang’ata Man Over Delayed Wages

A man in Lang’ata was allegedly brutally murdered by his employer after fleeing with his motorcycle for two days without paying his daily wages.

The man was killed two days after using his employer’s motorcycle while returning it to his boss.

According to his cousin and close friend, the man was allegedly battered to death by his employer and associates in the middle of the night.

The employer, who is now the primary suspect, escaped and has yet to be located.

“I got a phone call at midnight telling me that my cousin is being beaten up,” the cousin stated.

“Three people were sent to my house, and I could not leave the house. I heard they were very rowdy, and I could not leave while being alone.”

The close buddy, who works as a watchman, confirmed the deceased cousin’s feelings, stating that he was on duty and could not leave his job of protecting people’s cars to rescue his friend.

He did, however, mention that if neighbours had come out, he may have joined.

The relative claimed that when he called the suspect later, he received a response message that appeared to corroborate that he was the murderer.

“When I called, I was told, ‘Don’t make stupid phone calls; that one we killed him and buried him (sic)’,” revealed the deceased’s cousin.

The deceased’s kin described the brutal nature of his cousin’s murder, stating that he had hits to the back of the skull caused by a blunt object.

There were additional nail scars on his forehead, fractures in his left leg, and a rupture in his stomach.
