Youtuber Mr. Beast Launches Multi-Million Project In Narok As Kenyans Troll Politicians
Kenyans on social media are actively teasing politicians after Jimmy Donaldson, also known as Mr Beast on YouTube, brought his cavalry to Kenya in his latest endeavor.
The video’s concept, titled Watch This Video To Feed One Person in Need, was similar to his prior humanitarian acts caught on videos that have earned him 384 million YouTube subscribers.
Mr Beast launched his April 12 video by bringing his team to a Kenyan school, pledging to feed as many people as the video’s views.
“You watching this video will supply farmland, build massive kitchens and build schools with food for their students and save children from child labour,” he declared.
True to his word, the YouTuber worked alongside cooks and instructors at the school to create popular school dinners.

Which included porridge and githeri for over 500 pupils. The program was promised to continue by supplying breakfast and lunch every day.
“The more of you that watch this video, the longer we will be able to keep that programme going,” he promised.
As a result of this pledge, Mr Beast noticed a significant increase in school attendance, which led to his next major endeavor at the school.

This entailed bringing in more desks for the pupils who had taken to sitting on the classroom floor.
A truck loaded with news desks arrived at the school compound and was greeted with applause by the students, who had grown accustomed to four of them sharing a desk designed for two people.
Next, a new, larger, and more contemporary kitchen was built at the school to support the two-meal-a-day program.
A well, a water storage tank, a greenhouse, and a farm were also added to ensure that the school did not go without food.
Mr Beast also said that he has worked with large farms in the area to ensure that local schools would receive fresh produce for their lunches.

The farms are divided into two sections, one producing food for schools and the other for the community.
He purchased a tractor for these farms to help them farm more efficiently.
He also purchased a truck for the school to ensure that the food was efficiently brought to the school.
At the conclusion of the Kenyan part, Mr Beast left the school with enough food for 100,000 dinners.
In a true manner, Kenyans rushed to social media to criticize politicians in the area who had ignored the schools, forcing this intervention.
Mr Beast, traveled all the way from the United States to feed starving children in Kenya. Meanwhile, our Kenyan politicians—especially MPs —are more concerned with increasing their salary perks. Our President seems more focused on bribing churches. We are a s**t hole country. pic.twitter.com/K3WAw43z8q

Another added, “It’s sad that despite having an MCA, MP, Senator, and Governor, the area is still so neglected that Mr Beast has to step in and do what leaders should’ve done long ago.”
Citing the incident where the county government of Turkana demolished a classroom built by comedian-turned-activist Eric Omondi, others alleged that some politicians would be feeling salty about this as well.
“You will find an MP or MCA angry that Mr Beast brought donations to their area,” one such user commented.
Others even chided President William Ruto, claiming that he had started making plans to go and launch the projects Mr Beast brought.
