KDF Soldier Arrested Following Lover’s Death In Kitengela
A Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) soldier is currently cooling his heels in the Kitengela Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) after being imprisoned for the death of his lover.
The soldier, assigned to the Kahawa Garrison Defence Forces Constabulary, was apparently visiting his lover at a rented residence in Kitengela over the weekend when tragedy struck.
According to a police complaint, the 24-year-old woman experienced breathing issues during the interaction and eventually passed out.
“Around 11 pm, the deceased became unconscious and developed difficulty in breathing, where he (the soldier) raised an alarm and the caretaker responded,” the report reads.
The military officer panicked and asked a neighbour to transport them to a health clinic in Kitengela.
Unfortunately, the woman was said to have died. She died at the hotel before being sent to the hospital, according to reports.
