KUCCPS: How To Check KMTC September 2025 Intake Results
The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has announced the placement results for applicants to the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) September 2025 intake.
In a statement issued on Friday, July 18, KUCCPS advised applicants to log onto the KUCCPS site to monitor the progress of their applications.
“Update: Placement results for the KMTC September 2025 intake are out. Applicants should log in to the KUCCPS Student Portal to check,” KUCCPS stated.
The announcement comes after KUCCPS had announced that its site for KMTC applications would open on June 24.
While inviting students to apply, the placement service highlighted that the portal would be open for the next two weeks, from June 23 to July 7.

In the notice, the placement service advised students who wanted to apply for their preferred courses to do so through the KUCCPS online or at any Huduma centre around the country.
How to Check
1: To check the status of their application, students were advised to log into the KUCCPS portal: students.kuccps.net
2: Once an applicant accesses the portal, they will be prompted to enter their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) index number, KCSE year, and password
Applicants should use the KCPE index number or birth certificate number for the password.
3: Once logged in, you should be able to view your placement status and see if you have been placed into a KMTC program.

According to KUCCPS, there were 36 available programs, including diploma and certificate courses.
A Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery and a Diploma in Pharmacy are two notable courses that are currently open for applications.
Other diploma programs include public health, orthopaedic and trauma medicine, occupational therapy, health counseling, health promotion, Kenya Registered Nursing, mortuary science, and optometry.
Certificate courses available for application include Kenya Enrolled Community Health Nursing, Medical Emergency Technician, Health Insurance Management, and Nutrition and Dietetics.
