KNEC Sets Date For TVET 2026 Exam Registration
The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has announced that registration for the 2026 Business and Technical Exams will be open from July 6 to September 11.
In a notice issued on Tuesday, June 2, the council stated that the registration covers institutional applicants, including those pursuing Business single and group courses, ahead of the November series practical and theoretical examinations, which will take place from November 16 to December 4.
“Registration of candidates for the November 2026 Business and Technical examinations will commence on 6th July 2026,” the notice stated.
KNEC has requested that all registrations be performed online via the official portal available through its website.

KNEC has provided additional crucial dates for the registration and administration of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) examinations in 2026/2027.
For the March 2027 series, registration will be open from November 2, 2026, to January 8, 2027, for examinations scheduled from March 15 to April 2, 2027.
Registration for the July 2027 series will take place from March 1 to May 7, 2027, ahead of examinations scheduled from July 19 to August 6, 2027.
According to the notice, the last day for submission of Course Work Assessment (CWA) and project marks for the November 2026 series will be October 23, 2026, while for the March 2027 series it will be February 26, 2027, and for the July 2027 series it will be June 25, 2027.

The collection of advance instructions for practical examinations will take place on October 12, 2026, for the November 2026 series, on February 15, 2027, for the March 2027 series, and on June 14, 2027, for the July 2027 series.
Planning for hospitality practical papers is scheduled for November 11, 2026, for the November 2026 series, March 10, 2027, for the March 2027 series, and July 14, 2027, for the July 2027 series.
The council further set milestone data entry periods, with Milestone One, Two, and Three scheduled across September to October 2026 for the November series, January to February 2027 for the March series, and May to June 2027 for the July series.
The council emphasised that there will be no provision for late registration and urged institutions to adhere strictly to the published timelines.
