State House Announces Multi-Million Tenders For Daily Supply; How To Apply
The Executive Office of the President has invited Kenyans to bid for multi-million-shilling supply contracts following the announcement of new tenders for the 2026/2027 and 2027/2028 financial years.
According to State House Comptroller Katoo Ole Metito, President William Ruto’s office is seeking firms to provide paid goods and services, including outside catering and audio-visual and sound services.
Other tenders include the supply of tents and accessories, meat and meat products, fruits and vegetables, fuels, oils and lubricants, as well as travel and air ticketing services.
In a notice, most of the advertised tenders require a Ksh1 million bid security, while the supply of fuels, oils, and lubricants requires Ksh2 million
However, bidders for the supply of fruits and vegetables, as well as travel and air ticketing services, are exempt from submitting bid security because the tenders are reserved for youth, women, and persons with disabilities.
Interested firms have until July 23, 2026, at 11am to submit applications by completing the tender documents and depositing them at the tender box at Gate D, State House, in Nairobi.
Katoo said eligible bidders can download the tender documents free of charge from the State House procurement portal or the Public Procurement Information Portal before submitting their applications.

“Tender documents may be downloaded from president.go.ke and tenders.go.ke free of charge,” Ole Metito announced.
“Bidders who download the tender documents must forward their company particulars to supplychain@president.go.ke.”
“Completed documents, both original and a copy and marked with the tender number, should be deposited at the Tender Box located at Gate D and addressed to the Comptroller of State House P. O. Box 40530 – 00100, NAIROBI,” he added.
Metito explained that the contracts will be awarded through framework agreements, allowing the government to pre-qualify suppliers and buy goods or services from them over time without re-tendering.
The tenders are expected to attract competition from several Kenyans, as the State House remains one of the most sought-after government institutions for supply contracts due to the consistency of its procurement needs.
The latest tender announcement comes as the government continues to expand procurement opportunities for local businesses while setting aside select contracts for youth, women and persons with disabilities.
