Pauline Njoroge Resigns From Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee Party
Pauline Njoroge has announced her departure from the Jubilee Party, marking the end of a 14-year political career.
Njoroge announced her resignation in a statement posted on X on July 21, stepping down from the National Executive Committee effective immediately.
“For the last fourteen years, I have walked an incredible political journey. Today, however, I believe the time has come to embrace a new chapter,” Pauline stated.
Adding, “I therefore wish to announce my resignation from the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the Jubilee Party, where I have served as Deputy Organising Secretary, and as a member of the Jubilee Party, effective today.”
Looking back, Njoroge expressed gratitude for the experiences obtained over his 14-year political career.

She noted that the experience helped form her strategic communication abilities and knowledge of public service.
She also honored former President Uhuru Kenyatta, whom she characterized as a mentor who provided advice, chances, and support throughout her political career.
Njoroge said Uhuru’s leadership had exposed her to governance experiences locally, across Africa, and internationally, helping broaden her perspective on public service.
“I am especially grateful to the Jubilee Party Leader, H.E. Uhuru Kenyatta, who has been more than a leader to me,” Pauline stated.
“He has been a mentor, a teacher and a political father. He believed in me, entrusted me with responsibility and invested in my growth.”
Adding, “Beyond the opportunities he gave me here at home, he also exposed me to leadership and governance experiences across Africa and internationally, broadening both my perspective and my understanding of public service.”
Upon her resignation, Pauline revealed that she has been actively involved with the Linda Mwananchi movement since February this year, a platform gaining traction nationally.

She described the movement as central to advancing good governance, constitutionalism, accountability, and servant leadership among Kenya’s younger generation.
She stressed that her decision also aligns her with the broader WANTAM call, a push for national renewal built on integrity and people-centred leadership.
“Since February this year, I have had the privilege of being part of the Linda Mwananchi movement,” Pauline stated.
“Over the months, my conviction has only grown stronger that this movement represents an important platform for advancing the aspirations of our generation: a Kenya founded on good governance, the rule of law, constitutionalism, accountability and servant leadership.”
Adding, “This same conviction aligns me with the broader WANTAM call, a call not simply for political transition but for national renewal anchored in integrity, constitutionalism and people-centred leadership.”
All the same, she stressed that her transition was difficult but necessary, framing her exit as a new beginning rather than a rejection of her past service.
