DCI Pleas With Public To Help Locate A Man In Viral Video Savagely Beating 8-Year-Old Son
The DCI has requested public assistance in locating a man who was videotaped brutally beating his eight-year-old son.
DCI chief Mohamed Amin said in a statement on Friday that detectives were able to locate the man’s home after receiving a tip from the public after the video was posted online.

“Unfortunately, getting wind that the police were hot on his trail, the man identified as Kenneth Otieno disappeared with the young boy in the wee hours of today morning, just moments before our detectives knocked at his door in Nakuru,” Amin said.
“The suspect’s whereabouts are unknown, and the safety of the little boy may be at stake.
“We appeal to anyone who has information that could assist in rescuing the kid to share with us by reporting at any police station or call our #FichuakwaDCI hotline at 0800 722 203,” Amin said.
“The DCI wishes to thank concerned members of the public who provided information on the identity of the man.”
