US Sends Top Official To Kenya For Crucial Visit After Pro-Good Governance Protests
Uzra Zeya, the US Under Secretary of State for Civilian Security, Democracy, and Human Rights, is scheduled to visit Nairobi and Addis Ababa from August 4 to 8, 2024.

Zeya’s tour will take her into the heart of Kenya’s mounting turmoil, which has claimed over 60 lives since June 2024, according to the Kenya National Human Rights Commission (KNHCR).
