Kenya Police Report HUGE Success In Haiti After Annihilating Several Gang Members
Kenyan police officers in Haiti reportedly killed several gang members on Tuesday in an ambush operation conducted in collaboration with the Haitian Police Force.
According to a police report, more than 15 armored vehicles were spotted transporting officers to the Bel-Air and Solino districts in the suburbs of Haiti’s capital, Port-au-Prince.
The mission began in the early hours of the morning, with targeted operational areas of the two districts cordoned off before the operations began.
While confirming the reports, the head of the peacekeepers, Godfrey Otunge, described the operation as the largest ever carried out against the gangs since the mission began three months ago.

According to Otunge, locals who were informed of the operations were evacuated from the mission areas, leaving behind the gangsters who attempted to resist the officers.
During the operation, officers shot an undisclosed number of gang members, while others fled through the narrow street corridors.
In his update, Otunge reaffirmed the officers’ commitment to restoring peace in Haiti and warned gangs that operations would continue unless they surrendered.
During the impromptu operation, three Haitian National Police officers reportedly sustained minor injuries and were treated.
The Haitian police chiefs also stated that subsequent security operations would continue and that the Haitian government would use all available resources to support the joint operations.

Following the successful operation, locals praised the police officers and expressed hope that if similar operations continued, the gangs would be eradicated.
The mission comes just four days after the officers received 24 armored mine-resistant, ambush-protected vehicles from the US government.
Joe Biden’s administration also provided approximately 34 Overhead Gunner Protection Kits, or “turrets,” to assist Kenyan officers in their operations against the gangs.
The kits were installed on the armoured vehicles to improve their field of view during joint operations with the Haitian National Police.
