All department heads were also asked to ensure compliance with the directions by Saturday, October 19th, at midday.

The decision is in line with the changes taking place in the Office of the Deputy President following Gachagua’s impeachment.

Gachagua was impeached after Kibwezi West MP Mwengi Mutuse filed a motion to remove him from office on eleven counts.

Meanwhile, the Deputy President’s position is preparing for a new occupant after President William Ruto appointed Interior CS Kithure Kindiki as the next second-in-command.
