Senator Omtatah Gives Corrupt Leaders Ultimatum To Accountability
Busia Senator Okiya Omtatah is optimistic that Kenya will one day achieve a vision of justice and integrity.
The congressman, while praising Kenyans for their “unwavering support” in the nation’s journey toward a better tomorrow, stated that a Kenya where justice reigns is a vision many have wished for.
“One day, we shall hold accountable those involved in corruption. Their actions cannot go unchallenged, and we are steadfast in our commitment to ensure that they face the consequences of their deeds,” he said.
Omtatag went on to say that one day, Kenya will retrieve all assets that were unlawfully gained through corruption.
“These resources rightfully belong to the people of Kenya, and we will reclaim what is ours to build a brighter future for all,” he said.
Dear Friends,

Today, I want to share a vision that many of us have long hoped for—a vision where justice prevails and integrity is restored in our beloved Kenya.
One day, we shall hold accountable those involved in corruption. Their actions cannot go unchallenged, and we are…
“One day, we will follow the rule of law to the letter, ensuring that every citizen, regardless of status, is treated equally and justly under the law. Transparency and accountability will become the cornerstones of our governance,” he added.
Omtatah urged Kenyans to remain determined and united in their pursuit of justice.
“Change is within our reach, and with our collective courage and determination, we will pave the way for a corruption-free Kenya,” he stated.

Omtatah is widely regarded as the country’s leading public defender, having filed some of the most significant public interest cases that have impacted the economy and political landscape.
For years, he has been a source of frustration for the government.
His drive for a just society has gotten him into difficulties with law enforcement, resulting in beatings and imprisonment. In 2012, he lost four incisors in an incident blamed on goons.
His enemies accuse him of being a hired shooter who accepts money to represent the interests of powerful persons, organizations, and organisations, something he has consistently denied.
